We are so glad you chose us to be your home for IV therapy in Farragut, Knoxville, and the surrounding areas of East TN! Please follow the link on this website to schedule your appointment.
Preparing for your appointment
- Hydration: Even though we will address your hydration needs, please try to stay hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.
- Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing the day of your infusion and make sure that your shirt sleeve can be easily rolled up for IV insertion. Feel free to bring a light jacket as it may get chilly at times.
- Food: Avoid eating heavy meals just prior to your infusion. You may eat a light snack or a light meal before you come in.
- Medications: Please bring in a list of all of your medications; both prescription and over the counter, and any supplements or herbal remedies you are taking. This will allow the healthcare provider to thoroughly assess appropriateness of IV therapy for you.
- Miscellaneous: Feel free to bring any items of comfort such as a book or tablet with headphones. You may also want to bring pillows to help you relax.
Complimentary light snacks and drinks will be provided to you during your visit.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to complete all necessary paperwork, sign consents, and to allow time for the Nurse Practitioner to review your medical intake form and complete a brief history and physical exam as well as necessary vital signs. This consultation is free of charge. The Nurse Practitioner will then decide if it is safe and appropriate for you to receive IV therapy services. The Nurse Practitioner will then discuss your treatment goals.

Once it is deemed appropriate and safe for you to receive IV therapy services, one of our licensed and trained staff will insert your IV and begin your infusion. If you decide to add any additional therapies to your infusion, please let our staff know so that we can prepare it while you relax. Please note that some infusions such as NAD+ can take anywhere from 4 or more hours to infuse. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask one of our staff.

At Rocky Top Vitality Medical Spa, we offer clients Red Light and Infrared Light Therapy which uses specific wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellullar function. Our red light therapy machine simultaneously does both red light and infrared light therapy.
