Dr. Paul Warren King, MD; Medical Director
Dr. Paul Warren King is a board-certified physician with a distinguished career spanning more than four decades in Family and Emergency Medicine. A native of Kentucky, Dr. King earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cumberland College (now the University of the Cumberlands), where he also met his wife, Linda. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Louisville before entering active duty with the U.S. Navy, where he completed his Family Practice residency in Jacksonville, Florida, and later served in Orlando.
After achieving board certification in Family Medicine, Dr. King briefly practiced in Western Kentucky before transitioning into Emergency Medicine, ultimately earning board certification in that specialty as well. His career in Emergency Medicine spanned more than 30 years, during which he served as Medical Director at three different emergency departments and worked extensively with FEP and TeamHealth.
Currently, Dr. King continues to serve patients through telemedicine with Teladoc Health, where he brings decades of clinical expertise to virtual care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. King treasures time with his wife, two children, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He and Linda share a lifelong love of music, having played and sung together since their college years. His hobbies include fishing, playing guitar, traveling, and enjoying golf in retirement.
