Lab Order and Clinical Assessment Visit
Who Can Benefit From a Lab Order and Clinical Assessment Visit?
Patient's who are looking to have basic labs drawn such as a CBC, CMP, A1C, Lipid Panel, and Vitamin levels such as B12, Folate, and Vitamin D. This is a brief focused 30-45 minute visit where the Nurse Practitioner will obtain a history and physical exam and then determine which labs; if any, will be ordered. Only the labs listed above will be considered; as deemed appropriate, by the Nurse Practitioner. All other lab orders will be deferred for either a Functional Medicine Visit or a Thyroid / Hormone Optimization Visit.
Where Can You Get Labs Drawn?
Labcorp is the lab that Rocky Top Vitality is contracted with for most blood work. Patients are responsible for all lab associated costs and will be billed by Labcorp for any balances that are not covered by insurance. Rocky Top Vitality is not responsible for any lab related costs.
What Is Included In a Lab Order and Clinical Assessment Follow-Up Visit?
This is a 15-25 minute visit where the Nurse Practitioner will review lab results with the patient. The Nurse Practitioner will then make appropriate treatment recommendations which may include medications, supplements, and/or lifestyle changes if deemed necessary.
